Kevin Knopf, MD, MPH

Kevin B. Knopf MD, MPH is the Chief of Hematology and Oncology at Alameda Health Systems –  a safety net medical system in Oakland, California and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine and member of the Institute for Health Policy at UCSF. He is an Associate Professor at the University of South Carolina School of Pharmacy and an author of numerous papers and on cancer care, health services research, and health economics.  He is an author or co-author on many papers related to the economics and patterns of cancer care.  He is a frequent speaker at conferences on Cancer Health Economics, Health Disparities, and Precision Oncology.  Dr Knopf attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, and Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, He trained at Northwestern, the Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the National Cancer Institute.
