The Center for Genomic Interpretation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on ensuring accurate clinical variant interpretation for all patients and genetics consumers.  There are other organizations helping genetics providers and patients in other ways.  Some of these organizations are listed here.

Non-invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT) now allows expecting parents to learn of some genetic conditions even before birth. Special Angels Adoption is a non-profit that provides support services when parents are faced with difficult diagnoses of their fetus or birthed child. To expand options to families, Special Angels Adoption also offers completely free services to help place special needs babies and toddlers, and some older children, for adoption with experienced and loving adoptive families.
