John Pfeifer, MD PhD
Dr. John Pfeifer is a professor at Washington University in St. Louis in the departments of Pathology and Immunology as well as Obstetrics and Gynecology. He additionally serves as the Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs, Pathology and Immunology and the Director of Molecular Genetic Pathology Fellowships at Washington University. His research has focused on the use of molecular genetic testing in clinical settings, specifically investigating methods and settings where molecular testing is useful for prognosis and guiding therapy. Dr. Pfeifer serves on the editorial boards of the American Journal of Clinical Pathology and Modern Pathology.
