Megan Garlapow, PhD
Dr. Garlapow joined CGI as the Chief Strategy Officer in 2020. She earned her doctorate degree in quantitative genetics from North Carolina State University, authoring one of the most widely cited papers in genetics of food intake to date. Initially starting her career in academia, Dr. Garlapow spent time researching the genetics of body weight at Arizona State University before founding her own medical writing company that delivered clear and concise information to various stakeholders in the medical community. She eventually transitioned to medical writing for continuing medical education before joining CGI. At CGI she is integrally involved with driving forward CGI’s research initiatives and outreach strategies.
