Robert Burton, MS PhD PMP
Dr. Burton is currently the Manager of Strategic Partnerships at Ancestry, and was formerly Ancestry’s Health and Science Program Manager. He co-founded CGI with Dr. Eggington in 2017 and served as CGI’s President from 2017 through 2019. His career has included management of external and internal research and development as well as productization efforts. He has delivered complex technical projects in clinical diagnostics, genomics database development, and other cross-functional projects. Employers have included organizations such as 23andMe, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
