Stephanie Bywater, CHC CHP CIA
Stephanie has worked in healthcare compliance since 2005 and has extensive experience developing and managing programs to support compliance with global, federal, and state laws and regulations in the healthcare and biotech industries. Her areas of compliance oversight have included risk management, business ethics and anticorruption, regulated products, billing and reimbursement, research, and global data privacy and protection.
She is currently the Chief Compliance Officer for HealthTrackRx, a leading PCR-based infectious disease laboratory. Previously, Stephanie implemented compliance programs for Recursion Pharmaceuticals, served as the Chief Compliance Officer for NeoGenomics Laboratories, managed global compliance operations for Varian Medical Systems and was their Americas Region Compliance Officer, and was the Compliance and Privacy Officer for Myriad Genetic Laboratories. Early in her career, she managed compliance and privacy programs and worked as an internal auditor at Intermountain Healthcare and the Alexian Brothers Health System.
Stephanie graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Northern Illinois University and is a Certified Healthcare Professional (CHP), Certified in Healthcare Privacy (CHP), Certified in Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC), and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
