I am Alexander Lazar MD/PhD, a Professor in the Departments of Pathology & Genomic Medicine at The University of Texas MD Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. I have dedicated my professional career to studying the genomics, epigenomics, and proteomics of malignant solid tumors and attempting to translate these findings to optimize the care of cancer patients. This includes the use of clinical cancer genomics in both the clinical trial and standard of care arenas.
