Birgit Funke, PhD FACMG
Dr. Birgit Funke is the Vice President of Genomic Health at Sema4, a patient-centered health care intelligence company, and the Co-chair of ClinGen’s Cardiovascular Domain working group. After earning her degree at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, she did a fellowship in Clinical Molecular Genetics at Harvard University and taught at Harvard Medical School. She has also worked as an associate laboratory director and director of clinical research and development for the Partners Healthcare Center for Personalized Genetic Medicine. Dr. Funke also worked as the VP of Clinical Affairs for Veritas Genetics from 2017 to 2019.
